$600 to fund grocery card and indigo gift card

Recently we learned about a grandma who has custody of her 11 year old granddaughter. This woman is going is navigating terminal cancer and the diagnosis just came recently that she'll be palliative in 6 months or so. As a church, we were able to provide $600 to fund a grocery card and an Indigo card for the granddaughter.

Beyond this small gift, we need to pray for this family.

This is a heartbreaking situation. The 11 year old granddaughter will likely need foster care when her grandmother passes. This person is connected to a work colleague of someone at Grace Community Church – another example of intentional conversations leading to an opportunity to serve and support.
